Sexual and Reproductive Health Resources

Services to promote sexual and reproductive health — including evidence-based prevention education, counseling, testing, and referral — are essential and should be delivered so that all may benefit. The Chatham County Public Health Department provides services and programs to best suit the needs of the community in promoting the quality of life as it relates to sexual and reproductive health. 


The Chatham County Public Health Department provides the following services and programs:
  • Support to schools and community organizations
  • Health education curriculum development and training
  • Program planning and evaluation
  • Family Planning clinical services
  • Maternity Care
  • Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) counseling, testing and treatment
  • HIV testing and counseling
  • Emergency Contraception (Plan B)
  • Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Immunizations
  • Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program
