Why Focus on Fathers?

  1. Parents are partners in raising their children, even when they do not live in the same household.
  2. The roles fathers play in families are diverse and related to cultural and community norms.
  3. Men should receive the education and support necessary to prepare them for the responsibility of parenthood.

Our Goals:

  • Work with our kids at home, trying to keep them in the community and from the street.
  • Build trust among our brothers.
  • Support each other.
  • Become a family in our community.

Our Rules:

Seven Golden Communication Rules

  1. Initiate Dialogue
  2. Listen Actively
  3. Validate Feelings
  4. Don't Interrupt
  5. Stay on the Subject
  6. Fight Fair
  7. Respect Differences
