Taxpayers can pay county taxes using the options outlined below.

BY MAIL:
Taxes may be paid by mailing payment with the payment stub from the bottom of the tax bill to the address shown on the stub in the envelope provided. 

IN PERSON:
Payments can be made in person at the Tax Collector's office located at 12 East Street Pittsboro, North Carolina weekdays from 8-5. For after hours payments, a drop box is located near the parking lot at 12 East Street. Payments will be considered received on the next business day and will be subject to interest if payments are received on or after the past due date.

ONLINE:
Pay your tax bill online: Click here
Pay by credit/debit card: A transaction fee of approximately three percent will be charged for credit/debit cards.
Pay by e-check: For e-check online payments there is a transaction fee of $1.50. You will need your routing number and checking account number to process through e-check.

BY PHONE:
To make a payment by phone you are required to provide your bill number and account number.
Please call toll free 877-690-3729 and use jurisdiction code 4300.
