Project Name: A Legislative Public Hearing request by the Chatham County Board of Commissioners to adopt revisions to the Chatham County Subdivision Regulations to reflect recent legislative changes and recommendations by Planning Staff. These revisions include: Sec. 1.13, regarding changing the appeal process; Sec. 3.1 (B) (1) (2) (a) and (b) and Sec. 3.4, regarding changes to financial guarantee requirements; Sec. 4 (D), regarding a new “expedited review” classification for minor subdivision; Sec. 5.2 (B) (2), regarding a verb changes for “Mailed” and addition of time period requirement for notification of nearby property owners; Sec. 6.2 (B), regarding changing the development size threshold for environmental impact statements; Sec. 6.4 and 6.4 (B), regarding altering plat standards and General Statute reference; Sec. 7.1 (D), Sec. 7.4 (C) (1), and Sec. 7.7 (I), regarding limits on local riparian buffer regulations; Forms 16, 17, 18, 19, regarding adding lot numbers; Form 21, regarding adding a “Non-Building Lot” form.
