New 2020 Summer Camp Payment and Refund Policy
Payment and Refund Policy In order to attend Summer Camp, all balances must be paid in full by Friday, June 5, 2020 by 5pm. No refunds will be issued after Friday, June 26, 2020 at 5pm.
Chatham County Parks and Recreation Department Summer Camp is a Traditional Style Summer Camp. The camp offers children in rising Kindergarten through rising 8th grade an opportunity to enjoy a week long camp at Northwest District Park.
Sign-ups are always the first Friday in March. (March 6,2020)
Spots fill up fast so sign up early!
Please register for the wait list if a particular week is full, there is a high chance of your participant getting added to the week!
Camp is Monday through Friday of each of the weeks listed below

During their camp week campers will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities including:
Board Games/ Air Hockey/ Foosball/ Ping Pong
Fees: $55.00 per week
Early Drop-off and Late Pickup Times: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

- Weapons/Drugs/Aircrafts/Drones/ or any other items specifically stated as banned from the Chatham County Parks

2017 Haw River Summer Adventure Camp

The Haw River Adventure Camp is hosted and run by the Haw River Canoe & Kayak Company. Click here to view the general facts sheet for the Haw River Summer Adventure Camp.
The Adventure Paddle Camp is designed to engage campers with the outdoors through different on-water and on-land activities. In addition to time spent paddling, they will hike different sections of trails along the Haw River throughout the week. Campers learn outdoor living skills such as orienteering, shelter-building, and tree and plant identification. They also work on developing teamwork and confidence as campers participate through games and exercise. This camp is scheduled for August 21st-25th at the 15-501 North Canoe Access.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Carolina is dedicated to serving Lee and Chatham County youth from the ages of 6-18. From homework assistance to games, athletics, workshops for our young men and women, to drug prevention programs, the Club offers young people a range of fun, productive, and learning activities. The Clubs are open each day after school from 2:30-6:30 (OT Sloan Site), 2:30-6:30(Church St. Site) and 2:30-6:00 (Wren Family Center Site). Research has proven that between the hours of 3:00-6:00 pm, juvenile crime is on the rise. Why not send your children to a safe place during those hours?
