Kids Book Series - This website is maintained by WebData Technology Corporation. The purpose of the site is, in part, " to help make parents' and educators' jobs easier by helping them select the right books for their kids." The portion of the site linked here allows you to sort book series in a number of ways, including by Lexile, Accelerated Reader, and Fountas and Pinnell Guided Reading levels.

Scholastic Book Wizard - This site from Scholastic allows you to search for a book by Title, Author, or Keyword. Books are then displayed with their Grade Level and Guided Reading Level.


Early Literacy

What is Early Literacy? - Raising Readers is a website all about reading and early literacy. If you're not sure exactly what Early Literacy means, this is a good place to start. 

Six Early Literacy Skills - This web page from Colorado Libraries for Early Literacy outlines six early literacy skills for children ages 0-3, and ways parents can practice these skills with their children.

Early Literacy - Zero to Three is a non-profit organization whose mission is to ensure that all babies and toddlers have a strong start in life. The web site contains resources for parents and caregivers on a variety of parenting topics. Early Literacy resources include links to videos that demonstrate pre- and early literacy skills.
