MISSION: The County Manager’s Office oversees the daily operations of the county based on the policy direction of the County Board of Commissioners. The County Manager is appointed by the County Board of Commissioners, as is the Clerk to the Board of Commissioners and the County Attorney. However, other staff in the County Manager’s Office are hired and managed by the County Manager.

MAJOR SERVICES & PROGRAMS: The office staff responsible for: budget development, human resources, workplace safety, employee development, oversight of construction and renovation projects, risk management, public information and community outreach, human relations, website updates, grant writing, and special projects. The office also keeps copies of county ordinances, official Board of Commissioner minutes and Board of Commissioner meeting agendas.
