U.S. Census Recruiting Event Comes to Chatham County
PITTSBORO, NC— The U.S. Census Bureau is in search of workers for the upcoming 2020 Census and is holding a recruiting event on January 31, 2020, from noon to 7:00 p.m. at the Chatham Habitat for Humanity in Pittsboro. The event is hosted in partnership with NC Works, using their NC Works Bus. Chatham County residents who are interested in making a difference in their community, while earning some extra cash, are invited to find out more information and apply for positions.

National Census Day is April 1, 2020, but hundreds of thousands of workers must be hired beforehand. The Census Bureau is recruiting to fill these temporary positions across the country, including Chatham County, to assist with the 2020 Census count.
