Chatham Election Officials Recruitment Sessions Coming to Other Locations

The Chatham County Board of Elections is hosting additional information sessions to recruit more election precinct workers. Every election, including primaries and general elections, they seek hard-working, dedicated people to help make elections run as smoothly and fairly as possible.

All of these workers must be registered county voters who work during the 17 days of early voting and 12 hours or more on Election Day. Workers do receive compensation for both training and their work at the precincts.

To find out more about requirements and duties involved in serving as a precinct official, you can visit these three locations this month on the dates and times noted:

PITTSBORO: July 22 through July 26, 9 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM to 4 PM
Location: Chatham County Board of Elections Office 984 Thompson Street, Suite D, Pittsboro

SILER CITY: July 22, 1:30 to 4:30 PM; July 25, 10 AM-1:30 PM
Location: Wren Memorial Library, 500 N 2nd Ave, Siler City

GOLDSTON: July 24, 2 to 5 PM; July 26, 10 AM to 1 PM
Location: Goldston Library, 9235 Pittsboro Goldston Rd, Goldston
