Volunteers Needed to Staff Crisis Line for Victims of Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence
Chatham County's Family Violence Prevention Services and Second Bloom of Chatham are hosting a training for volunteers willing to staff a new 24/7 crisis phone line to provide support and information resources for Chatham residents experiencing or affected by intimate partner violence or sexual assault. Training sessions begin June 11, 2019.
The phone line volunteers will provide vital support services and can make a huge difference in people's lives. We seek volunteers who can give a one-year commitment to service as a phone volunteer and who are willing to complete training.
