Town of Cary Invites Input on Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Master Plan Addendum
Addendum addresses Chatham-Cary Joint Land Use Plan
The Town of Cary has scheduled a public input meeting on a proposed addendum to its Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Master Plan that would incorporate the area covered by the Chatham County-Cary Joint Land Use Plan.
The public meeting will be held Tuesday, October 2, from 4 to 7 PM at Cary’s Fire Station #8 at 408 Mills Park Drive in Cary. The meeting will feature the draft recommendations for the addendum. The Joint Land Use Plan adopted by Chatham County and the Town of Cary in 2012 had identified planning for parks and greenways as a future implementation item.
The meeting will be an open house, drop-in format with displays depicting the draft recommendations for parks and greenways. Staff from the Town of Cary and Chatham County will be available to answer questions and take feedback and collect comment cards.
