Sheriff’s Office Arrests 4 in Connection with Break-In
On March 7, the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a residential break-in off of Hanks Loop Road, Pittsboro. Multiple firearms and other property were reported stolen from the residence. Members of the Sheriff’s Office responded to the home and soon linked multiple individuals to the crime. Further investigation also linked the suspects to additional drug-related violations.
The Sheriff’s Office has charged both Jaxson Wayne Davis-McBride, 19, and Jorden Brooke Daniel, 19, of 8693 HWY 751, Durham, with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny, two counts of felony larceny of a firearm, two counts of felony possession of a stolen firearm, felony possession of stolen property, felony altering/removing a gun serial number, felony possession with intent to sell a Schedule VI controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, felony manufacturing marijuana, simple possession of a Schedule IV, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Davis and Brooke were assigned $5,000.00 unsecure bonds and are scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on April 23.
The Sheriff’s Office has also charged Perry Watson Terhune III, 51, and Barbara Ann Williams, 58, also of 8693 HWY 751, Durham, with felony possession of a weapon of mass destruction and felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, respectively. Both were given a written promise to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on April 23.
