Chatham Deputies Arrest Three on Drug Charges

February 16- The Chatham County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit and the Special Incident Response Team executed a search warrant last week at 1002 13th St. Siler City; the residence of Eric Eugene Headen, 25, Derrick L. Headen, 19, and Sandra Headen Snipes, 42 after an undercover drug operation was completed at the residence.

The Sheriff’s Office was receiving reports of illegal activity being conducted at the residence with Eric Headen being the main target of the investigation. Authorities seized numerous items which included a handgun, trace of Cocaine, 254 grams of Marijuana, and one unit of Hydrocodone.

After the search was conducted, the three were arrested for various drug charges. Eric Headen was charged with Felonious Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Felonious Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance within 300 feet of a Park, Felonious Maintaining a Dwelling for the Purpose of Keeping/Storing Controlled Substances, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Resist, Delay, and Obstruct of an Officer. He was jailed under a $31,000.00 secured bond.

Derrick Headen was charged with Felonious Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Felonious Possession of Cocaine, Felonious Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Felonious Possession of Marijuana, Felonious Maintaining a Dwelling for the Purpose of Keeping/Storing Controlled Substances, Simple Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Resist, Delay, and Obstruct of an Officer. He was jailed under a $30,000.00 secured bond.

Sandra Headen Snipes was charged with Felonious Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Felonious Possession of Cocaine, Felonious Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Felonious Possession of Marijuana, Felonious Maintaining a Dwelling for the Purpose of Keeping/Storing Controlled Substances, Simple Possession of Cocaine, Simple Possession of Marijuana. She was jailed under a $30,000.00 secured bond.
