PURPOSE: The purpose of the Summit is to exchange ideas and inspire elected officials, local government staff, non-profit organizations, affordable housing advocates, residential builders and developers, realtors, and citizens to achieve consensus on actionable, pragmatic steps to create and maintain an adequate stock of affordable homes in Chatham County.

From Pittsboro and points East: Take Route 64 West through Siler City to the 8th (last) stop light (just before overpass bridge and highway patrol on the right). Turn Right onto Greensboro Avenue (BP Pantry on right). Travel 1/2 mile. Turn Left toward Siler Business Park onto Village Lake Drive. Bear to your left toward the blue buildings. Enter center blue building. Please carpool if possible and avoid parking in spaces directly in front of the Council on Aging—these are reserved for Council on Aging customers. From Asheboro and points West: Take Route 64 East to Siler City, after passing under the bridge and highway patrol on your left, at the first stop light turn Left onto Greensboro Avenue. Continue with directions above starting at. Travel 1/2 mile. Turn Left toward Siler Business Park onto Village Lake Drive. Bear to your left toward the blue buildings. Enter center blue building. From points South: Take NC Hwy 421 North to ext 171 for Siler City. Turn Left onto Route 64 West. Go to the sixth traffic light (juest before overpass bridge and highway patrol on the right).
