Summer Reading 2018: Libraries Rock!

June 9 - July 31, 2018

It's that time of year again: Summer Reading!
Chatham County Public Libraries are totally amped about the summer reading theme: Libraries Rock!Libraries Rock Heart

Kids and teens are encouraged to sign up for Summer Reading at their local library branch. Each participant will receive a reading log and sticker sheet to track the number of hours they read - 1 sticker equals 30 minutes of reading.

Participants will earn small prizes along the way - at 5 hours (10 stickers) and 15 hours (30 stickers), up to the goal of 25 hours (50 stickers), earning the reward of a free book! All participants who reach the 25 hour goal will also be entered into a Grand Prize drawing to be held at the end of the Summer Reading program. If you don't want to stop at 50 stickers, ask for an additional sticker sheet. You can keep reading and earn an additional grand prize entry for every 5 additional stickers!

Don't forget to join us for special events in June and July, all around the theme Libraries Rock! Live music, magic, rocks and gems, movies, and more are all on the calendar.

Libraries rock, and so does reading! Don't fall behind on your reading list this summer - sign up for the Summer Reading program and keep the reading going all summer long!
