History & Background Information
On December 12, 2005 the Chatham County Board of Commissioners adopted a Resolution to work with the Town of Cary to draft a joint land use plan between Jordan Lake and the Chatham/Wake County line. The Town of Cary Council adopted the Resolution on December 15, 2005.

August 19, 2010: The thirteenth subcommittee meeting of the Chatham County Board of Commissioners and the Cary Town Council will take place at the Town of Cary Bond Park Community Center, in the Maple Room, from 9:00am until 12:00pm. July 13, 2010: The twelfth subcommittee meeting of the Chatham County Board of Commissioners and the Cary Town Council will take place at the Town of Cary Fire Station #7 Training Room, 6900 Carpenter Fire Station Road, Cary, NC, 27519 from 8:30am until 10:30am.
June 11, 2010: The eleventh subcommittee meeting of the Chatham County Board of Commissioners and the Cary Town Council will take place at the Jordan Lake Visitors Center, located at 280 State Park Road, Apex from 8:30am until 10:30am.
May 18, 2010: The tenth subcommittee meeting of the Chatham County Board of Commissioners and the Cary Town Council will take place at the Town of Cary Fire Station #7, 6900 Carpenter Fire Station Road, Cary, NC, 27519 from 9:30am until 11:30am.
April 15, 2010: The ninth subcommittee meeting of the Chatham County Board of Commissioners and the Cary Town Council will take place in the Henry H. Dunlap Building Classroom, 80 East Street, Pittsboro, NC from 9:30am until 11:30am.

2009 Updates
December 11, 2009: The fifth subcommittee meeting of the Chatham County Board of Commissioners and the Cary Town Council will take place at the Bond Park Community Center, located in Bond Park in Cary, starting at 9:00am. Bond Park is located at 801 High House Road between Cary Parkway and Northwest Maynard Road. For more information and the meeting agenda, click here.
November, 2009: Two Community Meetings have been scheduled to review and provide comments on the proposed Joint Land Use Plan Map. There will be a meeting on November 18, 2009 from 7-9pm at North Chatham Elementary School Multi-Purpose Room (3880 Lystra Road) and on November 30, 2009 from 2-4pm in Ballrooms 2 &3 at Bradford Hall in The Carolina Preserve by Dell Webb community (115 Allforth Place, Cary). You only need to attend one meeting.
