History & Background Information
On December 12, 2005 the Chatham County Board of Commissioners adopted a Resolution to work with the Town of Cary to draft a joint land use plan between Jordan Lake and the Chatham/Wake County line. The Town of Cary Council adopted the Resolution on December 15, 2005.
2010 Updates
March 18, 2010: The seventh subcommittee meeting of the Chatham County Board of Commissioners and the Cary Town Council will take place at Cary Town Hall in the Council Chambers from 8:30am until 11:30am. For directions to Cary Town Hall, click here. The Agenda will be available after March 11th.
February 4, 2010: The sixth subcommittee meeting of the Chatham County Board of Commissioners and the Cary Town Council will take place at the Town of Cary Fire Station #7, 6900 Carpenter Fire Station Road, Cary, NC, 27519 from 9:30am until 11:30am. For Meeting Agenda, click here.
2009 Updates
December 11, 2009: The fifth subcommittee meeting of the Chatham County Board of Commissioners and the Cary Town Council will take place at the Bond Park Community Center, located in Bond Park in Cary, starting at 9:00am. Bond Park is located at 801 High House Road between Cary Parkway and Northwest Maynard Road. For more information and the meeting agenda, click here.
November, 2009: Two Community Meetings have been scheduled to review and provide comments on the proposed Joint Land Use Plan Map. There will be a meeting on November 18, 2009 from 7-9pm at North Chatham Elementary School Multi-Purpose Room (3880 Lystra Road) and on November 30, 2009 from 2-4pm in Ballrooms 2 &3 at Bradford Hall in The Carolina Preserve by Dell Webb community (115 Allforth Place, Cary). You only need to attend one meeting.
