MULCH SALE  Mulch is available for sale at our Waste Management Facility Monday-Friday from 7am to 3pm.  Please come prepared to load the mulch yourself.  The cost is $5 per load.

Compost bins for sale!

The following items are collected and charged a $20/ton tipping fee and must be separated into categories as listed below:

• Yard waste (leaves, grass clippings, trees/limbs, stumps(with no excess dirt), pallets, and non-treated lumber/wood)
• Inert Debris (brick, concrete, rock and clean soil/dirt/sand)

The following items are collected for no charge:

• Tires (no rims please)
• Scrap metal and appliances
• Cooking oil
• Motor oil and filters
• Propane tanks (and other gas cylinders)
• Electronics
• Car batteries
• Pesticide containers (triple rinsed)

The small business recycling center accepts:

• Cardboard
• Mixed paper
• Aluminum cans
• Plastic bottles (1-7 Rigid plastic bottles only)
• Glass (clear, amber and green)

 
This is also the location of Chatham County's household hazardous waste collection center. Decals are not required for any services at the Waste Management Facility.
