The Board provides guidance for Chatham Trades, Inc. a nonprofit that seeks and trains adults with disabilities for appropriate employment. As part of its work, the nonprofit provides assessment, case management, job placement and other services.

MEETINGS: The board typically meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Chatham Trades office in Siler City.

MEMBERS: Most members are nominated at an annual meeting and one member is appointed by the County Board of Commissioners (this is current Becky Loflin). One county commissioner (currently Carl Thompson) serves as a liaison to the Board.
