Fun Auction Coming to Support Services for Seniors

The Chatham County Council on Aging is hosting an online, silent auction that goes LIVE THIS FRIDAY, May 5th and ends on May 21, 8:30 PM. Funds raised will support Meals and Wheels and other services for aging residents.

The auction includes art, dining, beauty salons, massages, vacation rentals, wine, chocolate, quilts and many other items. Pottery items by Mark Hewitt and Cooper Mays and a painting by Clyde Jones are among the items. Another item includes a private party performance by Tony Williamson, acclaimed mandolin artist.

New items will be added daily, so check back often to view items up for bid. You will bid online starting May 5, 2017 until the auction closes on May 21, 8:30 PM EST.

Many of the items will be displayed at the May 21st Meals on Wheels fundraiser at Carolina Meadows featuring Tony and Gary Williamson, Nixon, Blevins and Gage and Diala Cissokho.  Click here for more information.
