The Senior Education Retreat will be held on Wednesday, April 18, at the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center in Pittsboro, which begins at 8:30 am. Proceeds of the event will go toward vital services, including Meals on Wheels, in-home personal care and family caregiver respite services.
Attendees will meet a wide array of exhibitors at 8:30 AM, followed by keynote speaker, Dr. Nortin Hadler (photo at right), who will cover "Rethinking Aging."
Participants will have an opportunity fto attend three one-hour sessions on various topics. They will also enjoy lunch caterered by The Old Place.
“We really appreciate that NC Cooperative Extension and the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center are partnering with us to offer this wonderful opportunity,” added Streets.
REGISTRATION: All of this and more is available for the registration fee of $25. All proceeds will help the Council on Aging tackle its growing wait list for services. To register, visit https://www.eventbrite.com/e/senior-education-retreat-tickets-42787397257.
